Indian smartphone shipments nearly 50% in Q2, 2020 because of Corona virus.

The whole countrywide lockdown because of COVID-19 pandemic has begun in the last week of March. Due to the strict lockdown between 25th March end of May, electronic gadgets more specifically smartphones shipments across India fall down nearly 45%to 50% in Q2, 2020.

Canalys Report for Indian Smartphones-

According to a report published by Canalys in the quarter ended June almost 17.3 million smartphones were shipped across the whole country. However, in the previous quarter, almost 33 million smartphones were shipped.

Xiaomi still holds on to the first position in the market of India after the digital strike between Indian and China. Even Xioami increased their shares from 31%  to 30% in Q1. Company managed to ship almost 5.3unit before the lockdown period.

Vivo holds the second position, to beat Samsung in the Q1 2020. Vivo shipped 3.7 million units in the Q1 2020. Samsung maintains to be in the top three. According to the report, Samsung shipped 2.9 million units Q1 2020.  Oppo, who is wing Of Realme gets the fourth position by shipping 2.2 million units in Q1. Realme get the fifth position by shipped of 1.7 million units all over India.

Due COVId-19 shipment of smartphones fall down this marked a great effect on the economy of India. Sadly, after the Indo-china war in Ladakh Create a spat between two countries. This is also an effect on our Indian economy.
