In an electric confirmation, Jamie Foxx has announced electro’s return in SpiderMan Homecoming-3. There will be a major Jolt in the next movie. How’s that for shocking news? Okay, I will stop with these puns now. Jamie Foxx is in final talks to return as the villain Electro, who was first introduced in Amazing SpiderMan 2. The new film will be starring Tom Holland and will be a Marvel Studio and Sony Pictures creation. Wow, I am electrified!
The filmmaker behind directing Spider-Man Homecoming and last year’s SpiderMan Far from Home will be overseeing this new film too. This will be Jon Watt’s third installment in the chain. Sony had set the release date for 17th Dec 2021. But fans are taking a guess that this would change because of Corona.

While we already expect electro’s return in SpiderMan Homecoming. All the insights are pointing out that most of the supporting cast is also expected to return in the latest installment. This would be including Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, etc.
The cameras may begin rolling in fall and the movie will be produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige. All this while Marvel has been silent, it hasn’t made any comments.
Though we have no clue about the plot or story as all details are being kept hush, Jamie Foxx’s Electro’s return in SpiderMan Homecoming is a surprise. This indicates that there is a possibility that previous movie events will be melded with the Holland series. I think it’s going to be pretty awesome.
This deal seems to have raised from the fact that 2014 Spider-Man didn’t perform well in the box office. So Sony made a deal with Marvel Studio to share Electro. And leading to the change in the character of Spider-Man to Holland and the appearance of Iron Man in Sony’s solo Spider-Man films. Well, Jamie is a very talented actor and despite his role in Amazing Spider-Man, he has been a very popular choice. Jamie is currently a part of a Netflix superhero drama “Project Power”.
