Jeannie Mai and Jeezy Tie the Knot in Intimate Wedding at Their Atlanta Home 1 Year After Engagement.
Couple has proved that if you want to be with someone it doesn’t matter how big your marriage ceremony is. Couple got married in March 27th 2021. We just wanted to be Husband and wife, Said Mai. While talking with Vogue Jeannie Mai stated :
“We were really looking forward to having all of our friends and family there to celebrate, But we had to change all of our wedding plans due to COVID. After Jeezy’s mother unexpectedly passed, we quickly learned that life is too short. And at the end of the day, Jeezy and I really just wanted to become husband and wife. So we decided to turn our original wedding into a mini-mony, where we exchanged our vows in front of our immediate family and a few close friends.”
As per Reports, Every Guest took Covid Test before attending the wedding ceremony. Jeannie’s Family is from Vietnam so Jeannie Mai and Jeezy are using their wedding to support Asian Communities. As crime rate against Asian communities are increasing day by day especially after Covid pandemic started. It is high time that celebrities having Asian background or not to support this cause.
While talking about honouring her culture she said –
It’s not just the recent events that make me mindful about our distinct cultures, for Jeezy, everything from his upbringing, experiences, struggles and his position in this white-centric country is a learning curve for me; and, vice versa,”
Both of them Opted to Exchange their Wedding vows having Vietnamese touch to it having traditional tea ceremony as well. Their wedding was an intimate and beautiful affair.
