Kaitly Bristowe, a Canadian television personality and podcast host, wrote on Instagram, “When you go on television I forget how cruel people are,” while revealing a photo of herself looking teary-eyed. “You win trolls today. It got me.”
Bristowe decided to take to Instagram stories to share the dark side of popularity and how it has personally impacted her. She admitted the negative remarks made her break down in tears. The Kaitlyn we have come to love and admire on-screen, however, she said she will no longer wallow in her sadness.
Bristowe in her Instagram stories said, “I felt my feelings, I let it out. Sometimes I like being frank about not being happy about it all.” She further added “I had a brief moment, cried it out, felt it all. Now, I’m going to pour a glass of wine on myself and remember what’s important in life.”
Kaitlyn, after a few hours, updated her followers and explained that she felt “a lot better.”
“My friends made me a board with sweet messages on it and I was sitting down and reading them all, reminding me of who matters and I’m back,” she wrote on Instagram Stories.
The former star of the “The Bachelorette” will join the next batch of popular “Dancing With the Stars.”
Announced after ABC ‘s new clip show, “The Bachelor, the Greatest Seasons Ever,” Chris Harrison, longtime series host, told Bristowe about the news through live video chat. “I’m so excited to ask you this question because, well, your life is about to change,” Harrison said, focusing heavily on the drama in front of Bristowe and her new boyfriend, Jason Tartick, the “Bachelor” alum.
