Legend of Runeterra Nocturne revealed: Spoiler Alerts

Exciting Update folks, Legend of Runeterra Nocturne revealed!  Legend of Runeterra has gained another champion card: Nocturne the Shadow lord. Well, we think Call of the Mountain Expansion is going to be super interesting with multiple champions in the game. Last week Trundle: The Freljord was revealed and now we have Nocturne. Legends of Runeterra Nocturne revealed that he is a shadow keeper.  With this, the card reveal season has reached its second week. The champion who got revealed in the latest teaser by Rito is Nocturne.  He is a 5/3-star wielding, 4- mana champion unit with a nightfall ability to reduce enemy power for one unit, making them vulnerable.

All you need to know about Nocturne!

The Legend of Runeterra Nocturne revealed that he is a Shadow Isles champion. And interestingly he comes with 5 absolutely new cards. The cards appear with a keyword ‘Fearsome’.  The leveled form of Nocturne is 4 Mana +1/+1 in stars and the same keyword.  Nocturnes power limiting ability upgrades while reducing the power of all enemy unit by one. This gives you multiple procs and allows your board to drive straight past the enemy units and go for the Nexus if the enemy’s power is reduced to two or below. How awesome is that?

Since he acquires his leveled form Nightfall cards, Nocturne needs to rely on cards with a shared keyword. So this means the cards revealed before are handy for his success.  Level up of Nocturne doesn’t need to be on board when attacking with Nightfall units. You can drop a level two Nocturne onto the board as soon as turn four. Since Nightfall naturally needs multiple cheap cards to play to activate their combo potential, cards that create cheap spell fodder, like the Gem-focused units from Targon, can have potential benefits. The trailer video of the gameplay looks superb! So get ready for Nocturne to Join the Champion Rooster on August 26th.
