Many final year students were concerned about their final year examinations. This is because most of the students are residing in containment zones. But despite that, the MP University exam 2020 will be conducted between June 29 and July 31. These exam dates will be for undergraduate final year students and postgraduate students. For the other years, they haven’t finalized the exam dates.

“It’s the first time that parents are also resisting us to not give the exam, its bcoz our life is more important than exams. we won’t take our lives on risk,” tweeted Priya Jaiswal, a student of the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University.

“I have heard time is the most valuable thing. But I feel #mpmsu has no value of our time. It’s hard to believe that a state-level university can play with so many students’ career,” tweeted Aayan Raiz, another student of the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University.

The government has requested the colleges to store approximately 100 masks and gloves, which will be used in case of an emergency.

CONCERNS REGARDING THE MP UNIVERSITY EXAM 2020

India has now become the fourth worst affected state because of the Coronavirus outbreak. Because of this, students are concerned about their health and mental state. All of them have a fear of contracting the virus at the examination centre. And most parents are also with the students this time, about the fact of direct promotion to ensure their safety. All over social media, students from all years are asking for direct promotion.

Nobody would want to bear the responsibility of any student contracted the virus while appearing for the MP University exam 2020. And because of this, students were firm about their request for promoting them without conducting exams. But the MP Chief Minister Mr Shivam Singh Chauhan said that promoting the students directly would pose as a dangerous issue for the future of students.

MP UNIVERSITY EXAM 2020 DETAILS

1. The exam will be in pen and paper mode.

2. The results will be announced in August.

3. If the Coronavirus pandemic situation becomes stable after the final year exams, the, then the exams for the rest of the years will be conducted.

4. Students will have to reach their respective examination centres an hour before to go through the thermal scanning process.

5. However, in a very rare situation where the candidate is unable to reach their respective exam centre on time, they may go to the nearest exam centre. But they must provide a valid reason as to which they have to write their exam in a different exam centre.

6. Students must carry their masks and gloves.

7. Students who record a relatively higher temperature during thermal scanning will be accommodated in separate rooms to write the exams.

MORE DETAILS REGARDING THE EXAMINATION CENTERS

The exam conducting authorities have advised all the exam centres to ensure seating arrangements for around 15 extra students. These seats will be used in case of an emergency only. The students must provide a valid reason for the change in the exam centre. And only then will the centre permit the student.

The principals of many universities had raised concern about the high expenditure for the frequent sanitization of the exam centres. Because of this, the MP government asked the colleges to prepare a budget for the sanitization work for every exam. But even then, the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) is expecting the universities to bear the sanitization charges from their college funds.

“We want the colleges to look for an agency on college-level and get the sanitization done on their level. The varsity, however, asked them to make a budget and we would try to consider,” said Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) exam controller Dr Ashesh Tiwari.

The government has requested the colleges to store approximately 100 masks and gloves, which will be used in case of an emergency.

EXAMS FOR COVID-19 AFFECTED STUDENTS

The universities will be conducting another examination after three months. This exam will especially be for those students:

– who were affected by the COVID 19 virus and tested negative after the treatment, but we’re not able to complete their quarantine period.

– who had a family member suffering from Coronavirus, because of which they had to undergo home quarantine?

But these specific students are required to produce legitimate documents from the government to prove their condition.
