Due to the corona virus that has engulfed the country , various exams were postponed. Recently , Union Public Service Commission released the new dates for the Preliminary exam . Originally, the exam was to take place on the 31st of May . According to the revised dates, the exam will now happen on the 4th of October. Further, Maharashtra Public Service Commission also released the new dates for MPSC Exam 2020.
ABOUT MPSC
MPSC Exam 2002 takes place to select officers to work as civil servants in the state of Maharashtra. The Commission’s head office is located in Mumbai. Further, the Commission also conducts various exams. These are as follows:
(1) State Service Exam
(2) Agricultural Service Examination
(3) Maharashtra Engineering Service
(4) Forest Service Examination
(5) Judicial Service Examination
Through these exams candidates are selected for various Gazetted and non-Gazetted posts. Hence , they are recruited as Group A , Group B and Group C officers.
RECENT UPDATES ON MPSC EXAM 2020
The commission has released the new dates for the MPSC EXAM 2020. The Commission has postponed the exam to 13th September , 2020. Hence the exam will now take place in September . The Commission has announced the revised dates on the official website www.mpsc.gov.in .
Moreover , MPSC SUBORDINATE SERVICES GROUP EXAM will take place on 11th October 2020. Also , the recruitment for the post of ASI , ASO etc will also take place on the same date.
The coronavirus situation has worsened in Maharashtra to an unimaginable extent. Hence the Commission also postponed the Engineering Service exams along with the above mentioned exams. The engineering Service Exam will now take place on 1st November 2020.
