OPPO is one of the most popular smartphone brands in India. OPPO experiencing big hits in the smartphone market, OPPO has now launched its new smartwatch– OPPO Watch. The company launched the OPPO Watch in India, along with its new smartphone OPPO Reno4 Pro.
The OPPO Watch prides itself on an AMOLED dual-curved display and VOOC Flash Charging Technology. Out of its two variants, the 41mm one comes with a 1.6 inch AMOLED display and 320×360 resolution. And the 46mm variant sports a 1.91 inch AMOLED display and 402×476 pixel resolution. The brand confirms full charging of the watch’s battery in just 75 minutes. This new smartwatch also promises a crisp image quality. The seamless picture quality is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor. The watch comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
The all-new OPPO Watch is powered by Google’s WearOS and comes with a UI on top of it. This allows the smooth functioning of apps like Google Play services on the smartwatch. It also facilitates other services like tracking indoor and outdoor running, outdoor walking, outdoor cycling, swimming etc.
The two variants
As mentioned above, the OPPO Watch comes in two variants- 41mm and 46mm. The 41mm variant comes with a 300 mAh battery that can last up to 24 hours, once charged. This variant costs Rs. 14,990. The 41 mm variant comes in three colours- Elegant Black, Rose Gold and Fog Silver. On the other hand, the 46mm variant comes with a 430 mAh battery that can last up to 36 hours, once charged. The 46mm variant comes in two colours- Black and Rose Gold- and costs Rs. 19,990.
The OPPO Watch is available for purchase from Amazon, Flipkart and offline authorized retailers.
OPPO had declared that people ordering this new smartwatch, along with the new OPPO Reno4 Pro, will avail instant discounts. People purchasing the 41mm variant were to avail a discount of Rs. 1500 and the 46mm buyers were to avail a discount of Rs. 2000. This discount was only for those who ordered the watch between 5th to 10th August. The discount applies to whichever platform or retailer that the customer chooses to buy from, but the deadline was reduced to 7th August for offline buyers.
The online retailers- Amazon and Flipkart- are offering a 10% discount on bank transitions.
