Realme announced the launch of 125W fast charging named as 125W UltraDart. The company claims, a 4000mAh battery can be fully charged in 20 minutes. It is to be noted that the announcement was made a day after Oppo unveiled its 125W,110W fast charges, and 65W wireless charging dock. Realme says 33% of the battery will be filled in 3 minutes with this technology.
This is an upgrade from the 6W fast charging in Realme X5 Pro. In a press release, Realme states 125W UltraDart fast charging technology is a significant, and technologically advanced solution compared to other fast charging options. It also added that this is a solution to enhance battery life and ensure long-lasting performance. Additionally, users need to charge their mobiles only at short intervals and can move without worrying about battery life.
Realme states that the temperature was provided and controlled under 40-degree Celsius to its technology ensuring smart and safe charging speed. Charging is three-way that simultaneously pumps voltage down and maximizes charging power. It also effectively reduces heat dissipation. All these together have been optimized for cooling resulting in an ultra-high conversion rate as per the company.
The new charging system has a flip-chip structure to reduce the heat source. An ultra-thin VC soaking plate is available for high heat conduction. It effectively and quickly absorbs and disperses the heat energy produced during the process. Charging cable used is a dual Type-C cable.
Realme 125W UltraDart technology supports up to 125W PPS, 65W PD, and 36W QC protocol fast charging. In addition, this is compatible with widely used 100-240V ultra-wide voltage input.
