Sony WF-1000XM3 to be launched in India

Sony, the Japanese tech firm is launching its high-end Sony WF-1000XM3 noise-canceling wireless earphones in India. It was launched in the US and other countries in 2019. The company already unveiled two earbuds in India this year- WF-XB700 and WF-SP800N. However, WF-1000XM3 is set to launch in India in the first week of August.The earphones are expected to be priced around Rs.20000/-.

Main Features of Sony WF-1000XM3

Sony claims WF-1000XM3 delivers ‘industry-leading’ noise-cancellation technology with the QN1e processor. In addition, it has dual noise sensor technology. Adaptive sound control uses the sense engine.Not to mention, this function auto-detects the environment you are in and adjusts the ambient sound settings as required.

The frequency response range is 20-20,000Hz. Bluetooth 5.0, support  SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs.

The company claims 24hours listening time-six hours of music playback with active noise canceling turned on, or up to eight hours with ANC switched off. If charged for 10 minutes, it delivers up to 90 minutes of playtime, Sony boasts. AUSB Type-C port is available for charging. Also,the case is  NFC-enabled for quick pairing.

Each earbud has 0.24-inch driver unit. It also has DSEEHX for digital enhancement of audio, together with touch sensors to control music.Furthermore, there is also an option to tweak the equalizer via Sony’s app. Moreover, it supports activated voice assistants like Google Assistant, and Alexa.

Likewise, as in the other Sony earbuds here is a quick attention feature. Placing a finger over the earbud automatically turns down the volume. When the finger is lifted it shifts back to normal.

Colors

The device is available in two colors- Silver and Black.

Availability

The Sony WF-1000XM3 is expected to be available through the company’s usual online and offline retail channels. This includes Sony stores, Amazon, and Flipkart.
