Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum n Fun is a famous Rhythm RPGs collection game developed in Japan. The game first came out in Japan and some other Japanese counterparts back in 2018. Nintendo initially released the game as ‘Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version’.

It is generally an arcade rhythm game that requires the players to beat drums to their favourite tracks. This gives the players a chance to hone and even show-off their taiko(a Japanese drum) skills. Players can choose their own characters to support them in their journey of becoming the game’s star drummer. There are many characters to choose from, all from the Taiko no Tatsujin series, and each one has their unique performing skills.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum n Fun is a four-player game that has an ‘E’ as an ESRB rating. The game can be played offline with friends and even on online connectivity with other people worldwide. The supported languages of this game are English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The game can be played in different modes, be it on TV, tabletop or handheld.

The game also comes with 20 mini-games that the players can explore when they get bored. This is usually referred to as the Party Mode. Drum n Fun was also the first Taiko no Tatsujin game to accompany the motion control feature.

Tracklist

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum n Fun comes with a bomb playlist of around 252 famous songs, including Splatoon and Mario theme songs. All of these are downloadable to used when playing in the offline mode. Nintendo also offers another pack of songs that can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop. The available tracklist is also aptly divided into seven categories.

The game has a 5/5 rating on GameStop. Also, 91% of Google users have reportedly liked this game. The Nintendo World Report also shows a report of 8.5/10 for this game.

In terms of sales,  the game sold more than 69000 copies just during its first week of release in Japan. Media Create had also named it the best-selling game of that week. As of now, this game by the Rhythm RPGs collection has sold more than 1 million copies all around the world.
