According to ‘The Weeknd’ Grammy is corrupt. After Grammy revealed the list of nominees. The Weeknd got dishearten because he does not appear on the list a single time.
Actually, Weeknd sold many records this year having his name, not on the list is quite a shock for the Weeknd fans as well.
What The Weeknd had to say about Grammy :
After Grammy’s nominations list The Weeknd took Twitter to show his disagreement. He called Grammy ‘Corrupt’ and wrote Grammy owes it to the weekend fan.
The Weeknd has also asked Grammy for some transparency in the process.
The Weeknd’s this year’s Music Award nominations :
- Recently The Weeknd was nominated for AMAs in the category favourite album for album After hours.
- Song Blinding lights has done pretty well on the music charts. Having around 280 million views on YouTube. And earned many nominations.

As per The Weeknd, Grammy is corrupt , but in the past he has won many of them in different categories.

- In 2014 for Rap/ sung performance because of song remember you he is nominated

- Category – song written for visual media, song earned it in 2016

- For category urban contemporary album , song – star boy (2018)
- For category R&B performance, song – earned it (2016)
- The weekend won in the category urban contemporary album for Beauty behind madness in (2016).
Because of this many nominations and awards, The Weeknd Grammy saga is not proving any point
