About the Plot.
This psychological thriller is dated back to the days between The World War two and the Vietnam War. The story revolves around a young boy Arvin Russell who fights to save himself and his family from the evil. While Tom Holland plays the role of Arvin, Robert Pattison plays The dark Preacher. The other lead characters are a suspicious couple and a treacherous copper. The Devil All the time would be eye gratifying battle between Tom Holland and Robert Pattison.
Director Antonio Campos is known for his psychological theatrics like Afterschool, Simon Killer and Christine. He is now set to release another psychological thriller with high cast. He said,“I’m a big fan of southern gothic and noir and this was a perfect marriage of the two. Sometimes you might be adapting a piece and you think like, Well, there is a seed of a good idea here and I’ll just throw everything away and start from scratch. In this case it was like, we love everything!”
This award winning novel is now ready to be released in form of a film. A theater maniac Netflix has taken the responsibility to air it on September 16th this year. Tom Holland and Robert Pattison worked together back in “The Lost City of Z.” While Robert has already marked his signature, Tom Holland is yet to have a milestone outside Marvel Cinematic Universe.
