The Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception

 

One of the most famous and historical places in Goa is Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. It is situated in Panjim.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is famous for containing the second largest church bells in Goa. The church construction has the Portuguese Baroque style.

 

Dudhsagar Waterfalls

The Dudhsagar Waterfalls, popular as “The Flowing Cascade of Milk,” are on the Goa-Karnataka border. The crystal white water falls from  a height of more than 1000 feet.

You can get the best view  by entering Mollem National Park and taking a van.

 

Tito’s Nightclub

Tito’s nightclub is only 18 kilometers away from Panaji. It is a very popular place in Goa. The common name for the entire lane in Baga is Toto lane.

The Tito Pub and Restaurant usually has long lines for having awesome welcome and different DJs. Tourists also know it as one of Goa’s iconic nightclubs.

 

Fort Aguada

 

Fort Aguada is a Portuguese fort from the 17th century constructed to defend against Dutch and Martha’s invasion. The fort is on Sinquerim Beach. It is  a well-known Goa landmark today.

It separates Candolim Beach from  Sinquerim Beach, offering some magnificent views. The design enables a useful insight into the building ways of  early Portuguese architects.

Anjuna Flea Market

The Anjuna Flea Market is the best flea market in Goa. The market offers a traditional Goan experience. It is an eye-catching place with a seaside setting.The place is only open from the midst of November to the early of April.

 

Chapora Fort

The Chapora Fort is situated in Bardez, Goa. The fort is over the Chapora River. Muslim monarch Adil Shah built the fort.It is a massive and commanding building.

The fort  has witnessed many wars.And It has been between Portuguese and Indian control over the time.

 

Divar Island

Divar Island is only 10 kilometers away from Panjim. The island has only one village with a very few people residing there. Diver is wonderful, serene, and full of natural beauty covered in thick forest.

The island is  easily reachable  from morning to evening. Many ferries are available every 15 minutes.

Dona Paula

Paula attracts a lot of tourists in Goa.It is only 7 kilometers from Panjim. Dona is famous for  having a wide stretch of beach.
