Every year different Universities in Uttar Pradesh conduct the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Bachelors in Education. This year the exam was earlier scheduled for the 8th of April. A nation-wide lockdown was announced later in March due to which the Lucknow University had to postpone the exam. The new date was hence released for the conduct of the exam which was 22nd April 2020. Due to the corona Virus and the further extension of the lockdown the exam could not take place. Hence now the Lucknow University has released the NEW DATES FOR UP B.Ed EXAM 2020.
ABOUT UP B.Ed EXAM 2020 :
UP B.Ed JEE is an entrance exam which the Lucknow University conducts at the state level. This exam provides admission to the candidates who are eligible and also clear the exam to the Bachelors of Education course. The candidates get admitted to various colleges in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Last year Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University in Bareilly conducted this exam. This year, Luck University is responsible for the conduct of the exam. Also, owing to the coronavirus situation, Lucknow University needs to ensure proper safety and social distancing norms for the safe conduct of the exam.
RECENT UPDATES: NEW DATES FOR UP B.ED EXAM 2020
Lucknow University has released the new dates for UP B.Ed Exam 2020. The exam will now take place on the 29th of July this year. Earlier in June, the University has extended the last date for the filling up of the application forms. The last date to fill the application form was 19th of June. On request of lakhs of applications requesting the change of exam centre, the University had allowed the students to change their exam centres according to their feasibility.
There are two objective papers which a candidate has to clear to get admission. Around 2 lakh candidates get admission every year after clearing the exam. Further, this year due to the coronavirus situation, the University has decided to double the number of exam centres. This is important given the sensitivity of the situation and to ensure the safety of the candidates.
