The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the admit card of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020 soon. CTET Exam is carried out to recruit candidates for Teaching Profile all across the country. CTET or Central Teacher Eligibility Test provides candidates with an opportunity to join Central Government Schools such as NVS/KVS/Tibetan Schools etc. States that do not conduct TET Exam appoint candidates through CTET Examination.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the 14th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 5th July 2020 (Sunday). The test is carried out in twenty languages in 112 cities all over the country. The Official Notification was issued on 23rd January 2020. All candidates can register themself for the CTET July 2020 exam by 2nd March 2020.

CTET 2020 July exam will be carried out as per the schedule. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not made any modifications in CTET Exam Date 2020.

What is CTET?

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level teacher’s eligibility test. It is organized and managed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. CTET is conducted twice a year giving a maximum number of candidates a chance to begin their career in the teaching profession for classes I to VIII. This includes minimum age 17 years with equivalent secondary or graduate degree (depending on the post applying for) from a recognized institution. This exam is a two-stage examination pattern having an interview and certification round. Candidates need to qualify this exam to complete the selection procedure for teachers in government schools.

  • CTET paper-I – 05-Jul-2020 (9:30 AM-12 Noon)
  • CTET paper-II – 05-Jul-2020 (2:00-4:30 PM)

How to Download CTET Admit Card 2020?

Candidates can download CTET hall ticket 2020 by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Firstly, Visit the official website of CTET exam – ctet.nic.in.
  • Secondly, Click on the link/button available for downloading the CTET admit card.
  • Thirdly, Enter the following details: 1. Registration/application number, 2. Password/date of birth
  • Fourthly, click on the Submit button.
  • Then, Check, download and print the CTET 2020 admit card.

CTET 2020 Exam Pattern

  • CTET 2020 Exam will carry out in two phases: Paper I and Paper II
  • Paper, I is conducted for candidates who wish to teach Class I to V.
  • Paper-II is conducted for candidates who aspire to become a teacher for Class VI to VIII.
  • Candidates also have the choice to apply for both Papers I and Paper-II.
  • Questions asked in both Paper I and Paper II are Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Paper is bilingual, i.e. in both English and Hindi.
  • Candidates are required to score a minimum of 60% to qualify for the CTET 2020 Exam.
  • One important thing to note is that the CTET score is valid for 7 years after the result has been declared for the same by CBSE.

Carry photo identity along with your Admit Card 2020:

Candidates have to bring any of the following valid photo identity for examination.

  • PAN Card
  • Aadhar Card
  • Voter Identity Card
  • Passport
  • Driving License

Some of the important points to note regarding the CTET 2020 admit card are:

  • CBSE has not released the date for the release of the admit card. As per CTET notification, the admit card is tentatively scheduled to release in the third week of June.
  • There are high chances of the CTET 2020 exam getting postponed due to the increasing number of Coronavirus cases in the country. If the exam is postponed, CTET admits card will not release this week.
  • Exact details regarding the allotted CTET exam centre and paper timings will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • CTET admit card is a mandatory document to carry to the allotted test centre.
  • Along with the admit card, it is also mandatory for candidates to carry a valid photo ID proof (PAN Card/Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card/Passport/Driving License) to the test centre.
  • In case, any information given on the admit card is incorrect, candidates must contact CTET authorities on their helpline number (011-22235774 or 011-22240112) to get it corrected
