Visva-Bharati University Exam Postponed: On Monday 22 June 2020 Visva-Bharati University decided to postpone the examination. Due to Covid-19 outbreak, it will be a crucial and risk full step to conduct the examination. Pandemic is getting harsh. Approximately, More than 4 lakhs confirmed cases across nationwide. Many universities and colleges in India postponed the examination. So, the current situation is horrifying.
Visva-Bharati Meeting
The meeting aims at regarding postponement of examination. All the departments and heads were part of the meeting. Under the view of Santiniketan Central University and Vice-Chancellor Professor Bidyut Chakraborty. Undoubtedly, the meeting main discussion was to clear doubts regarding the examination. Meeting signifies the postponement of examination as the only option left.
The university can’t risk the lives of students. The lockdown started on 22 March 2020. This day ie remembered as Janta Curfew day. Later, PM announced nationwide lockdown from 25 March 2020. So, it was a clear message for exam postponement.
University Message For Students
Some students are out in their home city. So, in this scary environment, they can’t travel. University told students are not required to visit the campus till next announcement. They have to stay at home. Announcement for postponed examination is declared by high authorities of the Visva-Bharati University.
the HRD Ministry Ramesh Pokhriyal didn’t make any announcement. The schools, colleges, universities will remain close unless and until the situation becomes better. Furthermore, Asha Mukherjee said that all the university semester examination including school certificate examination 2020 are postponed. The increment of Covid-19 cases leads to take such a decision. Unfortunately, students need to wait until further notice.
