UPSC Recruitment 2020: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has put up a notice for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers. In addition to Assistant Engineers, there are other positions available including; Foreman, Assistant Professor, etc. After a long break in the recruitment process, it has brought good news fo the UPSC aspirants.

Application Dates for UPSC Recruitment 2020:
- The applicants should complete the application by October 15, 2020.
- Whereas, they can take the print out of application until October 16, 2020.
Application Fee for UPSC Recruitment 2020:
For the UR candidates, the application fee is Rs. 25/-. Whereas, the SC/St/PH/Women applicants do not have to pay the fees.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance):

There is One post vacant for OBC candidates. One post is for a General caste candidate. But, there are no seats for candidates from other categories.
- Age Limit: up to 30 years.
- Department: The vacancy is for the Department of Directorate General of Quality Assurance. Which, on the other hand, is under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.
- Educational Qualification: The applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology. But, the degree has to be either in Mechanical or Electrical/ Automobile. It has to be from a recognized University.

- Educational Qualification: The applicant should either be a Computer Engineer or hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. The degree should be from a recognized University. In addition to the degree, they should have at least 1-year experience in a related field.
Criteria for being Eligible for Senior Scientific Assistant’s Post (Computer):

This post has Two vacancies for Unreserved applicants but only One vacancy for SC applicants. On the other hand, there are no vacancies available for the remaining categories.
- Department: This post belongs to the Department of Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance. Which, on the other, belongs to the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.
- Age Limit: up to 30 years
- Educational Qualification: The candidates opting for this position should either have a degree in Computer Engineering or an should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers (AMIE). But, their subject has to be Computer Engineering. The people holding a Master’s Degree in Computer Science can also apply. The Degree or membership should be from a recognized University. In addition to the degree, they should also have experience of at least one year. The experience should be in a related field and from a recognized Organization.
Eligibility Criteria for Senior Scientific Assistant (Electrical):

There are only 2 posts in this category. The posts belong to the applicants belonging to the General Caste. However, no posts are vacant for any other caste.
- Age Limit: up to 30 years.
- Department: The vacancy is in the Department General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance. Which, on the other hand, is a part of the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate should either have a Degree in Electrical Engineering or should be an AMIE. However, the Degree should be from a recognized Institution. As evident from the other equivalent posts, the candidate should have experience of one year. It should be in a related field from a registered Organization.

Criteria for Specialist Garde III Assistant Professor’s Post (Clinical Haematology):

There are 1 seat each for ST and EWS candidates. UR candidates have 6 seats. But, OBC candidates have only 2 seats.
- Age Limit: 40 years
- Department: The vacancy is in the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have an MBBS Degree.
Eligibility Criteria for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Immuno-Haematology and Blood Transfusion):

There are Four posts for OBC applicants but, only One post for OBC applicants. However, no posts are available for any other category.

- Department: These posts belong to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate should have an MBBS Degree. Either it should be a part of the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Act, 1956. However, the degree should be from a recognized Institution.
