Whatsapp new features added in the application for the ease of its Android and iOS users. A dedicated security advisory website which will inform users about all the security updates; has been recently launched by Whatsapp. Not only this, the bugs and vulnerabilities on the platform are also fixed.
Whatsapp new features for iOS users :
Whatsapp latest iPhone beta release suggests that the app is improving its Payments; adds new voice calling features for iOS users. At the same time, the Whatsapp messenger app is working on WhatsApp Payments feature for specific countries especially Spain where this feature isn’t available yet.
Whatsapp Payments :
WhatsApp Payments is a UPI-based payment service within the app which allows users to send and receive money. Moreover, users can make transactions with the people who are present in their WhatsApp contact list. Not only this, WhatsApp is also looking to enhance its Security Code Change Notification. And the latest beta version suggests that the app is now compiled using the iOS 13.6 SDK.
Improvements have been made for voice call in Whatsapp for iOS users. Now that it has officially included a new tone when you end a call and a new ringtone when you receive a group call. The application is also working on a feature where a user will be able to join a missed group call in case the group call still exists. For the voice call it is still under development and is hidden in the beta version.
Furthermore, WhatsApp is working to make improvements in the app even when there is low storage available on the device. It states that WhatsApp is working on the Media, Links and Docs section in order to improve the speed to load images, videos, and GIFs. It is also discovered that new update will include bug fix and a better experience
