The nationwide lockdown due to Corona Virus pandemic has started last week of March for that all the school and colleges are shut down for an indefinite time. Now even many cities across India starting to enter the unlock phase. However, school colleges still closed. When will schools reopen no one knows.  All the classes going through via online method.

Schools reopen possible dates-

However, in the centre has a discussion about reopening the schools and other educational institution from September 1st to November 14th. But nothing is confirmed yet. There might be a chance to reopen all schools and other educational institutions.

As per the media report, the government may soon reopen educational institutions. They made a wise and great plan for restart schools and other educational institution under the guidelines of the final phase of unlock.

If schools reopen then it will restart after almost 6 months. Schools, colleges and other educational institutions across the country are shut down since March 23rd. Two days prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the nationwide lockdown to control the spread of Corona Virus. Since then all the schools and other educational institutions shifted in online teaching method. The new method of teaching faces several challenges in our country.   Shortage of smart devices and lack of technical knowledge is the reason behind problems of teaching especially in the rural area and villages.

Report about Schools reopen-

As per the report of Economic Times, the centre has farmed the specific plan by the group of secretaries associated with the Group of Ministers(GoM) on the COVID-19 management system. This group is lead by the Health Minister of country and also the Member of Parliament from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk Dr Harsh Vardhan.

The report revelled and quoting a piece of valuable information by sources of the central government. The report will be issued by the Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for the reopening of the schools, colleges and other educational institutions. However, the final decision taken by the state government that when will Schools reopen as well as another educational institution restart.

New guidelines for schools reopen-

The report mentioned that for the first few days probably 15 days of the opening of the schools and other educational institution’s class ten and class twelve students will be asked and guided to attend the schools. After that, the students of class six to class nine will be a call to attend the class brought back to their respective institute with restricted hours.

However, this also suggested that all sections of one particular school will attend classes on the same day as earlier. Different students will have assigned different days for attending classes.

As per the report of Times Of India, the emphasis especially on the matter of sanitization of the classrooms. This is also the biggest highlight of the centre’s formulation plan. May be school will be taking in two working shift one is the morning shift that is from eight am to eleven am and another is the afternoon shift twelve pm to three pm. The one hour break in between two sessions is for sanitization. As yet there is no plan to bring back the primary and pre-primary students in their respective classrooms. They will teach via online method just like now. The discussion between the group of minister declared that the government is not in favour of calling them. According to the government rules schools are advised to run with their 33% staffs.

School Reopen Process

In other foreign countries such as Japan, Switzerland has brought back its students in their respective classrooms. But there are so many norms. Indian Government officials have studied their process and understand that.

According to the report the hill station of the northeast, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand is the region where can open the schools.

The number of cases in India every day increases also the economical stress and financial crisis increases day by day. On the contrary, people cannot seat at home for years.  Almost for 6 months all the exams such as boards exam, NEET for all India Medical also JEEMAIN for all India engineering, CLAT for law students etc. these are postponed.

Now, unlock phases are started with precautionary measures.
