The World Health Organization (WHO) recently announced a global trial of four coronaviruses (COVID-19) treatments, and the name given to this trial is “SOLIDARITY trial,” according to science magazine.
The attempt is designed to rapidly gather the data on the drugs to figure out any side effects and to find the most effective treatments for COVID-19. More than 45 countries are involved in this trial except the USA. According to business insider, the first patient from Norway was included in the study and given treatment.
The four treatments for COVID-19 include remdesivir, opinavir and ritonavir, Lopinavir and ritonavir plus interferon beta and hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine.
