A man who made it big in the Indian film industry with his continuous hard work, persistence, and passion – here is Nawazuddin Siddiqui Birthday for you! He was born on May 19 in the year 1974 in Buddhana which is a small town in the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh and is the eldest of the eight siblings.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui graduated from the National School of Drama of New Delhi in 1999. Post which he moved to the city of dreams Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. He made his debut in Bollywood in the very same year wherein he had a small part to play in the movie Sarfarosh which also starred Aamir Khan. Post that, he played several roles on the silver screen but remained underrated for the longest time.
However, a star always finds its way to shine and he proved himself to be one of the best gems that the Indian industry could boast of.

One of Siddiqui’s best performances till date was in the 2004 release Black Friday which was an Anurag Kashyap movie based on the infamous Bombay attacks of 1993. The movie received large scale appraisal and was also went on to win Grand Jury Prize at the Indian Film Festival which was held in Los Angeles.
GANGS OF WASSEYPUR – PARTS 1 AND 2
Another Anurag Kashyap movie series, Gangs of Wasseypur – I and II were a huge hit at the box office. Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the character of Faizal Khan, a goon and son of a goon. Who turns out to be the most wanted man in Wasseypur as the movies take their course. His dialogue from the movie ‘Baap ka, Bhai ka, Dada ka, Sab ka badla lega re tera Faizal’ was hard hitting and a blockbuster!

BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN
Nawazuddin played the role of a journalist from Pakistan in this Salman Khan starrer which released in the year 2015. His character was found to be hilarious and witty by the audience and even though he was in a supporting role throughout the movie. His performance attracted eyeballs enough to earn him appreciation.

- While Siddiqui was still a watchman, he joined a theatre group to follow his passion of acting. For him, his motto has always been to never give up on dreams.
- Nawaz had only seen five bollywood movies before he came to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.
