Alex never said anything about an album. But this 21st August Alex the Astronaut debut album is ready to be shared.

Lynn always had so much potential, and all her songs hit home with relevant meanings. Remember her song ‘Not Worth Hiding’ it delivers the perfect message at the right time. In 2017 Australia had a referendum regarding Equal marriage and Lynn made this song about not being hiding your true self if you are gay and how you are perfect just the way you are. She writes from the heart but also captures situation beautifully. And Alex the Astronaut’s debut album’ Absolutely Nothing’ just intensifies this power.

Starting with a bright opener ‘Happy Song’ and ending with basically a thank you note for listening her whole Album the ‘Theory of Absolutely Nothing’ captures Alex’s personality and writing style stunningly.  Throughout the album Lynn handles sensitive subjects with a comfortable touch. Specifically, her songs ‘Lost’ which deals with the impact of unplanned pregnancy, ‘Split the Sky’ relating to depression, hope and the slow and fragile ‘I like to dance’ dealing with domestic abuse, are the most heart melting. She captures the essence of all the subjects with the right amount of delicacy and power.

Why did Lynn name the Album ‘The theory of Absolutely Nothing’?

There are 10 songs in the whole Album and each has its own story to tell.  Why is it  ‘the theory of Absolutely Nothing? It was Lynn’s choice let’s see the reason behind it:

“I’ve called it The Theory of Absolutely Nothing because I feel like the Einstein quote ‘the more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know’ really started to make sense to me during this writing process and apart of that comes through in a different way in each song.”

Fun fact about Alex’s Album ‘The theory of Absolutely Nothing’ is it releases exactly 6 days before the 10th Anniversary of Children Collides ‘Theory of everything.
