Due to the coronavirus crisis, various conducting bodies revised the dates for various exams. There was a change in the dates of various recruitment and eligibility examinations. Yesterday, CBSE released the CTET PREVIOUS YEAR PAPERS.
ABOUT CTET EXAM:
The CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST is the minimum qualification one needs to be appointed as a teacher. The CTET EXAM appoints teachers for Classes 1 to Class 8. The Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by both the central and state governments. Further, this exam helps meet the objectives of the RIGHT TO EDUCATION ACT, 2009.
The CBSE maintains all the database and information related to the CTET EXAM. B.T.C (D.El.Ed), B.Ed, and B.El.Ed is the minimum qualification needed to sit for the CTET Exam. Also, 60% of marks are required to qualify the exam.
CTET PREVIOUS YEAR PAPERS: UPDATES
Yesterday, CBSE released the Information Bulletin of CTET JULY 2020 Exam. CBSE also released the CTET PREVIOUS YEAR PAPERS. The previous year papers were of the exams held in December 2018, July 2019 and December 2019. Thus, the CBSE has released the papers for the last 3 editions of the CTET Exam. Further, it has released the CTET previous year papers in all the languages.
CBSE has not notified any change in the exam schedule. Hence, the CTET EXAM will take place as per the original schedule i.e on the 5th of July.
CTET EXAM PATTERN:
CTET Exam is an OMR-based test. This exam takes place in both the Hindi and English Language. There are two papers which take place. Paper 1 is for the recruitment of teachers for primary classes. Further, Paper 2 is for the recruitment of teachers for upper primary classes. The CTET EXAM does not guarantee employment as the procedure for recruitment of teachers is different.
CTET PREVIOUS YEAR PAPERS will help the candidates prepare better for the exam. The candidates will hence be able to prepare according to the questions asked in the previous exams. CBSE has uploaded the CTET PREVIOUS YEAR PAPERS for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. More than 20 lakh candidates have registered for the CTET JULY 2020 Exam.
The duration of the CTET EXAM is two and a half hours. The candidate has to solve 150 multiple choice questions in the given duration.
