Enola Holmes Trailer, Cast and Release Date

Enola Holmes has received a setback during the corona pandemic. But it is finally going to hit our screens on September 23rd. Netflix had announced the movie back in February last year, scheduling its launch in 2020’s holiday season. But due to many reasons, like coronavirus, Netflix had to halt its production.

Netflix officially released the Enola Holmes trailer on their YouTube channel on August 25. As per Netflix’s synopsis, Enola Holmes will be escaping the care of her brothers to escape being sent to a boarding school fit for proper young ladies. But Enola runs away to London in an attempt to search her mother who had suddenly disappeared on Enola’s 16th birthday. The movie then revolves around Enola unravelling a conspiracy that could change the course of history. The movie also justly defines the family dynamics and changing attitudes of and towards women in 19th century Britain.

The new Holmes movie stars the Stranger Things actress Millie Bobbie Brown in the title role. It also has Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin in the roles of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes, respectively.

Given all these details, Enola Holmes seems to be a fun movie to watch out for.
