Fortnite Winterfest 2020 is just around the corner, and is expected to come very soon for all players. Below we’ll list out everything we know, including dates, leaks and more.
Epic Games, ever since last year, has always celebrated the wintery holiday season with a game makeover. Usually what we’ll end up seeing is some cosmetic awards, a lobby glow up, and holiday themed everything. Map changes and weapon cosmetics could be heading our way.

Below we’ll outline everything we have confirmed about the Winterfest this 2020, including when we think it’ll drop and more.
When is Fortnite Winterfest 2020?
Originally, the first Fortnite Christmas event went from December 20th to January 2nd, The most recent one went from December 18th to January 6th. So it seems, for the moment, that they’re getting longer.
Updates typically happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so were expecting Winterfest to happen sometime during December 15th or the 17th. It could possibly run until the 5th or 7th of January.
What new skins does Fortnite Winterfest 2020 have?
Many leaks have already dropped concerning the upcoming Winterfest. Some of which confirm a Snowman type creature that will definitely be getting more cosmetics during the event. Additionally, he will also offer quests, bounties, and more.
Here are some things that @intercelluar & i found until leaking is back to normal:
– Epic are working on a Slurp Bazooka
– There's an unreleased "Fire Extinguisher" item
– We might get a "Snowman NPC" that grants you a quest,

Dataminers have found other things in leaks as of late. A character called Snowmando will also appear, and might just be a free skin we can get during the season. Like last time, a 14 day freebie may just be what these dataminers are seeing in the cards.

Additionally, some new items will make their way to the scene. There is something called a Christmas Flopper that has been discovered by dataminers. What is this item? At this point, we know so little that your guess is as good as ours. Still, it’s always good to have a little mystery right?
Because of what happened last year, we could also be seeing a prediction in this season of giving. As you recall, we got a Star Wars glider right before the Star Wars season came to be. Meaning, one of two things. Either an item is going to predict something for the next season, or, an item will predict a secret skin that will emerge this season.
