This time the hackers behind Joker opted for an old technique from the computer threat landscape so that Google can not detect it. Though, Google is steps ahead from these hackers and so detected them successfully once again.
This harmful malware was hiding in those 11 apps. Once the user installs it, it directly subscribes the users to the premium features.
Also, without informing them they use to deduct the amount from their bank directly. As they use to take the card details.
Therefore, Google removed these 11 apps. Which were downloaded by approximately 500,000 times by the users?
It is important for the users who downloaded this app to delete them. It was a good step by Google and was a great success.
