DC fandom rejoice! The Gotham Knights world premiere trailer is finally here! DC has made the fandom wait for long for officially releasing the WB Montreal’s new gameplay- set in the Batman world. But we yet to wait until 2021 for the release of the game.
The Trailer Launch
WB Montreal has been teasing the DC fandom since long by releasing some fake teasers of Gotham Knights. But yesterday, Warner Bros Montreal released the real trailer of the game at a 20-minutes discussion panel. The trailer launch was followed by a short Q&A session with the game developers.
WB Montreal also revealed that the game can be played in both solo and duo modes. It will also allow you to partner with players online. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, 4 Pro, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, Xbox One X and PC.
What is the trailer about?
Gotham Knights The trailer gives a gist of the settings and characters in the game, including a peek into the main antagonists. It also offers a short description of the plot of the game. It starts with Batman getting killed in an explosion. With their superhero dead, now the Batman family- Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin- need to take up the task of protecting the people of Gotham. The player needs to help them in this endeavour. The official description says, “You legacy begins now. Step into the Knight.”

Needless to say, DC fans are beyond happy with the trailer launch after being teased since so long. The Gotham Knights announcement has been duly sparked enthusiasm within fans.
Although some fans feel like the absence of Batman might be a little disturbing, others are pretty sure that he’ll make a comeback later in the game. Whatever happens, fans are just excited about the fact that the game is finally coming out.
