Have A Mesmerizing Glimpse Of The Northern Lights

There was a minor geomagnetic storm observed in the Northern hemisphere. The storm was enough loud to be visual beyond the arctic level. Though only a few western areas could have a glimpse of the northern lights and the mesmerizing view.

There is a possibility of witnessing the amazing view on Monday and Tuesday as well. A moderate level of a solar storm is expecting throughout the northern region.

Aurora Borealis is stretching towards the arctic region. People from Chicago, Detroit and Buffalo are most possibly can witness the beautiful northern lighting.

But there are some conditions whether the city can have a glimpse of the northern lights. Aurora Borealis will visible in the sky of the Western region. No doubt it’ll be the best night view in a decade.

But it largely depends on the weather condition of that region. If the sky is cloudy or there is rain a glimpse of the northern lights won’t be possible. But if the sky is enough clear for sometimes than there is no problem witnessing the amazing night view.

However, pollution is another factor while viewing the northern lights as it can block the view. It generally takes 20 minutes to adjust our eyes to the night sky. And anyone can have a glimpse of the northern lights if pollution is not an obstacle.

There is a solar storm going on which will produce the Aurora Borealis also known as northern lights. Which is mostly visible from the north and south pole. Although if the storm increases it also might stretch towards the polar region.

Glimpse of Northern Lights
The aurora borealis (or the northern lights) creates a stunning display in Craven, Saskatchewan — a province in rural Canada – on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. The lights were the product of large geomagnetic blasts from the sun that arrived Tuesday about 10 a.m. ET.

Because of the ongoing solar storm, the Aurora Borealis is forming to produce the beautiful lights in the sky. But it has an impact on the satellite system. As because of the solar storm the satellite may dysfunction and impact the GPS.

An impact on the satellite will many ways disrupt the services include GPS flights and as such. Necessary precautions need to be taken to avoid any major disruption.
