Last Date Of Online Registration of CAT 2020- September 16th, 2020, at 17:00 Hours.

Availability of CAT 2020 Admit card– October 28th, 2020

Online Examination Date of CAT 2020– November 29th, 2020

Result of CAT 2020 – Second week of January 2021 (tentative).

Eligibility Criteria For CAT 2020 registration-

Age Limit-

There is no particular age limit CAT or the Common Admission Test.

Educational Criteria –

The applicant who has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from a university or other educational institution recognized by the Government of India are eligible

Final year students of the graduations degree or the students who are waiting for their final year results to come also can eligible for this Common Admission Test.

If the applicants have professional degree such as ICWA /CA/CS they are also eligible.  [But the Applicant must have Fifty Percent (50%) in aggregate of the course].

Applicants should have Fifty Percent (50%) marks in their bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from any institution recognized by the Government of India.

If the applicant’s bachelor’s degree or equivalent is not recognized by AICTE/ UGC/MHRD-Govt, they are not fulfilling the eligibility criteria for this exam.

Relaxation of marks-

(SC/ST/PwD) category Applicants should have Forty-five Percent (45%) marks in their bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from any institution recognized by the Government of India.

Application Fees of CAT 2020 Registration-

(SC/ST/PwD)  applicants- 1000 Rupees/- (One Thousand Rupees Only).

For All Other Applicants (GEN/EWD/OBC/NC)- 2000 Rupees/-(Two Thousand Rupees Only.

Applicants must have to pay the CAT 2020 registration fee via Online payment methods only, which means applicants should pay through Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Net banking.

Important Documents for CAT 2020 registration-

The required certificate for form fills up.

a) Applicant’s class 10th certificate and mark sheet.

b) Applicant’s class 12th certificate and mark sheet.

c) Applicant’s scanned image and signature.

d) Applicant’s PwD certificate(if any ).

e) Applicant’s SC/ST certificate(if any).

Guidelines for CAT 2020 registration-

Image Specification-

a) The image should be clear with 150-pixel resolutions.

b) The photograph of the applicant must be taken in the white background.

c) The photograph of the applicant must be recent, more than 6 months old not allowed.

d) The photograph format should be JPG or JPEG.

e) The dimension of the photograph should be 30 mm ×

f) The file is of the photograph not more than 80 KB.

Signature Specification-


a) Signature of the Applicants Should be scanned.

b)The signature image should be in JPG or JPEG format.

c) The dimension of the signature Image be 80 mm ×

d) The file of the signature image is not more than 80 KB.

How to apply for CAT 2020 registration-

Examination Cities-

CAT conducted their exams almost 156 cities all over India. However, IIMs has the right to revised any test centres or cities as there is the one who conducted CAT. In the time of online registration, applicants have to choose their test centres as per their preferences. Applicants have to four options among those options applicants will allot one centre. Admit Card CAT 2020-

The IIM CAT 2020 registration session when completed then the applicants can get their alloted Admit Card from  October 28th 2020 in the official website. Applicants have to put their login credentials for download the Admit card. Applicants have to carry in on the day their written exam with valid Identity proof. Admit Card consists some details such as Name, Photo, Signature, Date of Birth, Reference Number, Roll Number, Exam date, Exam time, Photograph, Signature, Category, PwD, Name and address of the examination centre.


About CAT 2020 examination-

CAT or Common Admission Test a computer-based examination which is conducted by IIMs. This examination happens. This exam consists of various multiple-choice question or (MCQs).
