IP University Admission 2020: IP(Indraprastha University) is the popular name for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU or IP). It is a public type university. It was established in 1998 i.e. 22 years ago and is located in Dwarka, Delhi. IP University’s vice-chancellor is Mahesh Verma.
The deadline for application forms of IP University again extended. This extension is in view of coronavirus. As per notifications, the last date of online application submissions stands extended to August 11, 2020. Earlier the date was 31st July but due to the pandemic, the decision took a chance. The Application Form Correction Window also extended by 3 days.
Candidates wishing to take admissions in UG and PG courses in IP University can now fill the form.
The candidates need to qualify IP University’s entrance test CET to enter the university.

About IPU CET 2020 :
IP University Admission 2020: GGSIPU conducts IPU CET to invite admissions of various UG and PG courses such as BCA, BBA, BJMC, BSc, MSc, MTech, etc. After the exam, candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of rank. Counselling will also organise both online and offline.
- IP University Admissions of BCom(H), BCA and B.Ed are based o IPU CET. LLB candidates will get selected on the basis of CLAT score.
- IPU also offers admission of BHMCT, BBA, BA(H), BVoc, and BJ(MC) on the basis of IPU CET.
- University also offers UG courses in Science. Admission of BPharm in on the basis of JEE Main score. For BDS, BHMS and BAMS are on the basis of NEET UG exam.
- BSc and BTech admissions will also depend on IPU CET score.
Eligibility Criteria Of courses at IP University :

- BCA Class 12 with 50% aggregate or Diploma in any branch of engineering with atleast 50% aggregate.
2. BCom(H) Class 12 or equivalent with 50% aggregate.
3. B.Ed Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities, Engineering or Technology. at least 50% aggregate required.
4. LLB Class 12 fro CBSE or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate including English(core /elective).
5. BHMCT Class 12 from CBSE or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate with English(Core/elective/functional).
6. BJ(MC) Class 12 from CBSE or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate with English(Core/elective/functional).
7. BArch Eligibility shall be as per notifications applicable at the time of admissions.
8. BBA

*General class 12 from CBSE or equivalent
*Banking & Insurance with minimum 50% aggregate with
*Computer-Aided Management English(Core/elective/functional).
9. BA (H)

*English Class 12 from CBSE or equivalent with atleast 50% aggregate with English(core/elective/functional).
*Economics Class 12 from CBSE or equivalent with atleast 50% aggregate with Mathematics and English(core/elective/functional).
10. B Voc
Specifications Eligibility Criteria
*Applied Arts Atleast 50% in class 12. The candidates
*Automobile should not be less than 16 years and
*Interior Design more than 45 years age.
11. BPharm Class 12(PCB) with 55% aggregate.
12. BDS Class 12 with PCB with 50% aggregate.(40% for SC/ST/OBC)
13. BHMS Class 12 with PCB with 60% aggregate.
14. BAMS Class 12 with PCB with 50% aggregate.(40% for SC/ST/OBC)

Specifications Eligibility Criteria
*Nursing Class 12 (PCMB) with minimum 50% aggregate.
*Medical Lab Technology Class 12 (PCMB) with minimum 50% aggregate. English is mandatory.
-> Applying candidate should be an Indian citizen.
-> For UG courses, the minimum age is 17 years and maximum age limit is 21.
IP University CET 2020 Exam Pattern :
- DATE : Will be conducted in August 2020.
- EXAM MODE : Via online mode.
- QUESTION TYPE : Objective in nature.
- NUMBER OF QUESTIONS : Total 100 questions.
- MEDIUM : Available in English language.
- DURATION : 2.5 hours for BTech and 3 hours for other courses.
- TOTAL MARKS : Total of 400 marks.
- MARKING SCHEME : +4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark for incorrect answer.
