ITV Renews ‘Innocent’ For Second Season

“Innocent” is a British miniseries. TXTV production produces miniseries. The series has been going on for two years. The first season was released in March 22nd, 2018 in ITV. Sources say that ITV renews for Innocent Season 2. Katherine Kelly will play the role of Mr Selfridge, The Night Manager. She is the new addition in the cast of “Innocent”.

Innocent Season 2

Katherine Kelly is a 40-year-old British cctress. Firstly, her debut performance was Last of the Summer Wine in 2003. Although, she became famous after doing an  ITV soap opera. The name of the show was Coronation Street. It continued from 2006 to 2013. Becky McDonald was the name of her character.

Secondly, some of the famous actors are Lee Ingleby as David Collins, Daniel Ryan as Phil Collins. Daniel Ryan’s character is loyal to his brother. Fionn O’Shea as Jack Collins, who is David Collins’ son. Eloise Webb as Rosie Collins, who is David Collins’ daughter.

Story of “Innocent” before the recent Innocent Season 2:

Innocent Season 2

The story is about a man who is falsely accused of murdering his wife. He tries to gain his reputation back and fights against the accusation. His wife’s name is Tara. Her family already believes that he is the murderer. David Collins and his wife had two children. These children were with Alice, Tara’s sister. Later, there was a scandal about a school teacher who apparently was having an affair with a 16-year-old student. The role of the teacher was by Sally Wright (Kelly). the rumour was spread in a small town of Cumbrian town of Keswick in 2015. There is an interesting version coming up in Innocent Season 2. ITV will renew the second season.

The series got a 7.4 out of 10 in IMDb and 60% in Rotten Tomatoes. Season one of “Innocent” is available on Amazon Prime Video.
