JioMart App Availability
Reliance Industries introduces a new JioMart App in the market now. This app exists at both Google & Apple Play Stores. Reliance has now opened the e-commerce platform for the people to purchase the products (groceries and other materials)at reasonable rates. Buyers can easily download the app from their smartphones irrespective of Android or iOS platform.
Reliance Chief Mukesh Ambani releases JioMart App, just a week after their Annual General Meeting 2020. Mukesh Ambani says this app will make people comfortable in shopping. Users, only have to download this app on their smartphone rather than to visit a website to order a product.
All the Reliance competitors including Amazon, Flipkart, and others have their own separate mobile apps. Currently, the JioMart product delivery services are available in various cities across India at more than 200 locations. This app will be using Amazon and Flipkart vehicle for the delivery of items.
In addition to the app, Ambani also declares its collaboration with WhatsApp. This too will help people in buying products from the JioMart.
JioMart App and WhatsApp Collaboration
Ambani declares that “JioMart and WhatsApp” will unite and work in strong collaboration to open the gateway for millions of Indian small merchants in their growth. This will enable customers to flawlessly carry out with Kirana shops.
Isha Ambani too said this association will give power to Kirana Stores as it allows the stores to stay in touch with their customers on the JioMart platform. It will facilitate the multifunctional point of sale (POS).
- Firstly, it will create a powerful omnichannel tech-platform to unite customers, kiranas, and producers.
- Secondly, an extensive physical network of Reliance Retail new e-commerce will set up at every corner of cities.
Reliance for the first time will be supplying the customers’ complimentary COVID kit consisting of masks and hand sanitizers to restrain the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
Ambani, also declares that the Reliance-owned e-commerce platform will deliver 250,000 orders a day. Reliance in future is also planning to endeavour into electronics, fashion, and other categories.
The products at JioMart App are at 5 per cent below MRP. The prices are cheaper to Amazon, Flipkart, and even Zomato and Swiggy, who are currently delivering groceries across the country.
