It further claims a single-charge range of 832 kms which is better than any other in the electric vehicles category; the only electric sedan capable of achieving a quarter -mile in less than 10 seconds.

Lucid Motors, in their world wide broadcast from its Silicon Valley headquarters announced the production model of the widely awaited Lucid Air electric Sedan, earlier today. The company further added that this new pure-electric luxury sedan will launch its deliveries in 2021.

Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO, Lucid Motors said, “We’ve built a halo car for the whole industry with the Lucid Air, one that demonstrates the developments that are possible by pushing the limits of EV technology and efficiency to new levels.

The Lucid Air, with a peak speed of just over 320 kmph, will reach zero up to 100 kms in less than 3 seconds. Further, the electric Sedan when linked to a DC Fast Charging network; can charge up for approximately 32 kms. It also has an in built lightweight 113kWh extended-range battery pack.

It’s design is sleek and contemporary. The headlights come with a Micro Lens Array system composed of thousands of “light channels.” This technology embedded offers the brightest, most reliable, and most sophisticated lighting system ever.

Moreover, Lucid has joined forces with Amazon to integrate an advanced in built Alexa. The collaboration will enable the drivers and passengers advantages pertaining to a full Alexa experience on the go navigation, messaging, streaming media, and among many others and all this while focusing on the road.

The Lucid Air price tag would cost one heavily. The most economical version named The Air will come at $80,000 (around $1.25 crore) prices. The top-end model Air Dream Edition would set apart by $169,000 (around $1.25).
