The Mi TV 32 inch is part of the line of smart TVs developed by Xiaomi. The 32-inch television is one of their standard sizes but the TVs have gone through several generations since they were first released in 2013. While they are produced by Xiaomi, one of the world’s leading tech companies, there is some debate on whether or not they can be called smart TVs. With all that in mind a good question to ask is “is the Mi TV 32 inch worth the price?”

Mi Tv 55 Inch
After their success in developing smart phones including developing their own mobile phone chip abilities, the fourth company to do so, Xiaomi turned its attention to other market including televisions. The result was the Mi Smart TV series.
Since these TVs were introduced, they have gone through several variations with the current model number being the 4A. Every TV in the series supports the Android operating system and supposed to be able to automatically update the system just like a smart phone.
The current 32-inch variation has a LED HD ready screen with a 1366X768 video image setting. The 32-inch models appear to be incapable of 3-D imagery and also lack a curved screen option.
These two features appear to be quite common in the larger variations of the Mi television. It also features Wi-Fi and Internet conductivity as a standard feature, and also the common to USB ports and three HDMI ports.
It’s advertised smart TV features include the ability to access smartphone apps and games in addition to a web browser. An additional feature is that the TV contains a 1 GB RAM and has 8 GB of internal storage. This is an impressive list of features for a relatively small smart TV.
Price
The current price range for the Mi TV 32 inch is somewhere around Rs. 12499 in India which would translate to roughly $165 in United States currency.
This means that the regular price for this television is $10 cheaper than the lowest-priced model of its competitors. On the surface it looks like a great price for an outstanding piece of equipment. The customer reviews however tell a mixed story.
Many of the customers who bought the TV said it worked well for several months or a year. After that technical issues began to pop up, most common complaints the update failures on the system, updates triggering glitches, and apps not functioning.
Other complaints pertained to the slow response time of the remote control and difficulty in learning to use the remote. On the other hand, there were positives, mostly focusing on quality of the screen for the TVs price and the speed of the Internet connection. The overall biggest complaints from most sources however was customer service from the Mi TV support line, or lack thereof. Most of the reviews written by customers ask for assistance received a response of “it must have been user error”.
So, is the MI TV worth the price? The answer to that most likely depends on what a potential buyer is looking for. A relatively cheap TV that is capable of HD video with LED screen and also has the features of a smart TV, then this is probably a good choice. If the buyer is looking for something that’s has a potentially long and uneventful use life then based on other customer reviews this might not be the best choice. either way Xiaomi Mi TV 32 inch appears to be priced appropriately for its capabilities.
