Movies releasing online: It’s a dreadful time for the film industry as cinema halls across the world remain closed amid the coronavirus crisis. The global viral scare reportedly seems to persuade Bollywood filmmakers and producers to release their upcoming titles on OTT platforms like Disney+Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, etc. rather than delaying them.
Gulabo Sitabo:
About the movie:
Gulabo Sitabo is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, and written by Juhi Chaturvedi.
Set in Lucknow, it stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana as warring men.
Production:
In May 2019, in an interview Shoojit Sircar informed that Juhi Chaturvedi and he worked on the script.
Chaturvedi said about coming up with the quirky story, “As soon as I read the script, I shared it with Mr. Bachchan and Ayushmann at the same time.I thought it would take some time to develop and take it forward, but everyone was so enthusiastic to work on this script, they figured out their dates and here we are…” He further informed that the title of the film is a colloquial term used in Lucknow
The filming began in the third week of June 2019 in Lucknow.
Release:
The first look of Amitabh Bachchan from the film, a quirky teaser poster was presented on 21 June. The film was scheduled for release on 17 April 2020.
The release date of the film was initially announced for November 2019, but was then advanced to 28 April and later preponed to February 28. The film’s release date was again postponed to 17 April. The film was then scheduled to be released on 17 April 2020 and then was further postponed.
On 22 May the official trailer was launched by Amazon Prime Video.
The film will not be released theatrically and will stream worldwide on Prime Video from 12 June 2020

Laxmi Bomb
Laxmi Bomb is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film written and directed by Raghava Lawrence in his Hindi directorial debut.
It is a remake of the South film Muni 2: Kanchana and stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani.
Filming began in April 2019 and the climax scene ended in Mumbai on 1 March 2020.

The film, a remake of Muni 2: Kanchana, was announced in the second half of January 2019 by the director of its original version i.e. Raghava Lawrence with Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
Release
Its yet not been decided when the title will be dropping but Hotstar+Disney will be the platform hosting the release.
Ludo
Anurag Basu’s multi-starrer which includes Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Rohit Suresh Saraf is said to be released on Netflix soon.
Like father like son, Bachchan Jr. following the steps of his father Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, also have soon to be released movie in his pocket.

Jhund
Jhund is an another Amitabh Bachchan starer that is going to be released online. This one is rumored to be released on Netflix.
This film also stars Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru and is directed by Nagraj Manjule and is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of NGO Slum Soccer.
