Navodaya Vidyalaya Result 2020 Updates

Many students were expecting the release of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Result 2020. They expected the announcement of the results at or around June 20, 2020. And finally, the Navodaya Vidyalaya has announced its grade 6 and grade 9 Result. Undoubtedly, this is a big piece of news for those students who had appeared for the entrance exam. JNVST stands for Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test. The NVS is also known as Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. It conducted the grade 6 entrance exams on January 11, 2020. Furthermore, they conducted the grade 9 entrance exams on February 8, 2020. Over 30 lakh students had appeared for the entrance exam.

Announcing the result date, the Union HRD minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted: “Happy to share the select list of candidates for admission to Class VI in summer bound areas. Additionally, will declare lateral entry for class IX in JNVs for session 2020-21 on 19th June.”

HOW TO CHECK NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA RESULT 2020



1. First, visit the official website https://www.navodaya.gov.in/

2. Given below are the direct links to check the results:

– On the other hand, for grade 9 Result, you may directly visit this page link http://cbseit.in/cbse/web/nvsresult/ResultIX.aspx

3. Secondly, Enter your Roll. Number and Date of Birth (DOB).

4. Finally, click on ‘Check Result’ and you will be able to view the Navodaya Vidyalaya Result.

5. Download the page for future reference. Also, take a printout to keep a hard copy, if necessary.

ADMISSIONS THROUGH JNVST

Kindly note that grade 6 and grade 9 admissions will take place based on the selection list only. Moreover, the Navodaya Vidyalaya admission policy states a few important points. According to the policy, students selected from rural areas fill at least 75% of the seats in a district. On the other hand, students fill the remaining seats based on open merit of the district. 

 

Selected candidates will have to appear for the document verification. Besides, document verification might be online. But, there is no official confirmation. Navodayas are residential schools registered under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD). 

Enrolled students will have to pay Rs 600 per month for books and uniforms. And the rest of the charges are not applied.

JNVs are a system of schools for talented students especially from a rural area in India. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in New Delhi is an autonomous organization. It is under the Department of School Education and Literacy. This organisation runs the JNV group of institutions across the country.
