Coronavirus caused a delay in various recruitments. Some weeks back the National Highway Authority of India began its recruitment process for engineers. Now, the National Thermal Power Corporation has begun with its recruitment process. The NTPC Recruitment 2020 is for the Executive Trainees who had taken the GATE exam 2020.
WHAT IS NTPC?
The National Thermal Power Corporation is a powerful utility which I’d India’s largest power conglomerate. It aims to become a 130 GW Company by 2032. The main aim of NTPC is to generate power and hence supply electricity. The company aims to generate reliable power, sustainably and at affordable yet competitive prices.
The NTPC Recruitment 2020 allows the engineers to become a part of the largest power company. Further, it also provides a chance to lend a hand in energising India’s growth.
ABOUT NTPC RECRUITMENT 2020.
NTPC Recruitment 2020 is for fresh graduates for the post of Executive Trainees. Only those who took the GATE 2020 exam can fill up the application form. The interested candidates have to register through their GATE REGISTRATION NUMBER. This registration number is printed on their GATE Admit cards. The eligible candidates can log in to ntpccareers.net.
The application process for NTPC Recruitment 2020 is set to begin from 16th June 2020. Further, The application process will end on the 6th of July.
VACANCY DETAILS FOR NTPC RECRUITMENT 2020.
The vacancies are for the electrical, mechanical and the electronics field. The number of vacancies under the mechanical field is 30. The vacancies under electrical field are 45. Further, the vacancies for the electronic field is 20.
APPLICATION FEE.
The application fee for those belonging to the general category is Rs 150. It is the same for those belonging to OBC or EWS Category. As far as the other reserved categories are concerned, they do not have to pay any fee.
ABOUT THE PLACEMENT:
Those selected will go through one year of the training process. There are many places where the training will take place. Hence, after the training is complete, the candidates will get the final place of posting. The candidates can be posted anywhere in the country. Also, in any subsidiary of NTPC.
PAY SCALE UNDER NTPC RECRUITMENT 2020.
That recruitment will get basic pay ranging from 50000 to Rs 160000. The candidates will also get Rs 50000 during the training period.
Those recruited will also get various other allowances like deafness allowance, terminal benefits etc.
