You Season 3 Trailer | Release date and all you want to know …
In season 1 of the Panchayat, we saw Jitendra Kumar as the lead actor. He is the secretary of the Panchayat who also happens to be a CAT aspirant. In Panchayat, the aspects of rural India are shown in a simplistic manner and there is no “poverty-porn” involved as has been the case in many films and television shows while depicting rural India on screen. Yes, the problems faced by the villagers are shown but they are depicted with a tinge of humor which makes a huge difference.
FORMAT:
TVF has made the series in such a format that while the story progresses in each episode, there are small incidents in the life of Abhishek unique to each episode which makes each episode like a small story. This is what makes the story special.
CINEMATOGRAPHY:
The cinematography is a delight and the whole series was shot in real-life locations. Raghubir Yadav as the “Pradhan Pati” or the unofficial Pradhan of the village steals the show along with Chandan Roy who plays the role of Vikas in the series. The versatile actor is flawless in every scene and his character also isn’t the stereotyped corrupt politician. Rather, he is shown to be quite a good person who tries to help people. Neena Gupta as the official Pradhan is excellent as usual. Faisal Malik as Deputy Pradhan is great too.
MUSIC:
The series has been blessed with awesome music. You will be hooked to the theme song if you binge watches the series and it will automatically play in your mind. There is a nice song in the last episode “Zindagi Tu Ek Paheli Hai” which is brilliant. Also, apart from that, there are awesome background music tracks throughout the series which enhances the experience of watching the series to a large extent of its audience.
Anurag Saikia has just created awesome melodious soundtracks for the series!
The makers of this web series, The Viral Fever (TVF), have paid attention to even the most minute details. For example, Abhishek refers to books written by Arun Sharma. And also, it has a copy of “Word Power Made Easy” by Norman Lewis while preparing for CAT. Most of the CAT aspirants refer to these during their preparation. Similarly, the scene in which he insists on getting his photo clicked with white background is worth noting. Because that is one of the criteria while filling the application for the CAT examination. Photograph submitted should be one of the candidates against a white or light background. Also, the CAT examination is typically held in the month of November every year and the characters switch to winter clothing in scenes based on this time period.
The themes of the episodes revolve around simple things that are a part and parcel of village life. Such as power cuts and solar lights, revolving chairs, gang wars, population control, village wedding, and patriarchal mindset among others. With Panchayat, TVF proves once again that it is miles ahead of its competitors with respect to the content on web-based platforms.
We all are waiting for the official release date of Panchayat Season 2. Also, we will be the first to review season 2 just for you. Till then stay tuned to our website for more interesting happenings around the world.
