The actor passed away in Mumbai after a battle with leukemia, a cancer of blood-forming tissues, at the age of 67.   • Yeh Vaada Raha

The movie released in the year 1982, and starred Rishi Kapoor, Tina Munim, Poonam Dhillon, Shammi Kapoor and Rakhee Gulzar in prominent roles. The movie was a love-story wherein Vikram (Rishi Kapoor) falls in love with Sunita (played by Tina Ambani) , a girl from a poor background.
