Spotify the music app has stopped working on iOS software. Which implies that the app is no longer working on Apple phones. The app after opening on the phone automatically closes. Reinstalling the app is not helping the users. As of now the users in US and the UK are facing this problem. The problem has been acknowledged by the company and they are working on solving it as quickly as possible.
Spotify, the music app was launched in India in February 2019. It is a Swedish music streaming company which began its operations in the year 2006. The app is available on iOS as well as android phones. Spotify has 286 million users worldwide. It provides both free as well paid services. Spotify was launched in India amidst stiff competition from Gaana, Amazon Music and JioSaavn. This is one app that is now available almost all over the world now. It has been able to gain quite a bit of popularity in India.

Music is something which is big business in India. From a rickshaw puller to probably the prime minister of India listen to music. Music has no caste, creed, religion or gender. Music has no age bar. February, it followed an aggressive marketing strategy during the Diwali time in 2019. Bollywood stars like Anil Kapoor, Ishant Khattar were roped in for some clever marketing.The marketing people ensured that the ads of the music giant did not go unnoticed.
I am a not a great music lover, however, I do listen to an odd song once a while. I think launching of an international music app in India was a good decision both for the company as well as for its citizens.
