Vivo, the Chinese firm officially announced the launch of the X50 series in India on July 16. The brand revealed the news on twitter and confirmed it to take place on Thursday at 12pm IST. Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 765G, and both the models carry a quad-camera setup on the back. These models were released in China last month with an additional model – Vivo X50 Pro+ which remains exclusive there.The CEO of Vivo India, Jerome Chen had then itself revealed the Indian launch of Vivo X50 and X50 Pro through a Facebook post.
According to the price range in China, Pro is roughly Rs. 45,600. It has 8GB and an expandable 128GB storage option, whereas the X50 model starts at Rs. 37,100 for this option. For the 8GB + 256GB storage option, the price is around Rs. 49,800 for X50 Pro, and for the other model its Rs. 41,300.
There are a few similar specifications in both models. The screen is 6.56-inch full HD with 2376×1080 pixels display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, and the operating system is Android 10. In the quad-camera setup, the main camera is 48 megapixels paired with a 13-megapixel telephoto camera. The other two cameras are 8 megapixels and 5 megapixels respectively. However, in Vivo X50 Pro, it is 48MP, 8MP,8MP, and 13MP. The selfie camera is 32 megapixels. The battery is 4200mAh for X50 and 4315mAh for Pro. Both models boast an in-display fingerprint sensor. Color options available are black, blue, and pink.
