Xiaomi had announced about the probable release of MIUI 12 in India. It was all set to be launched in the month of June but got delayed due to the pandemic scenario. However, now, Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 12 in India. And according to reports, there are 7 Xiaomi phones that will get this new update first.
MIUI 12
MIUI 12 is an updated version of Android OS and is available on Xiaomi manufactured phones. All the Redmi and Mi phones run on updated MIUI operating systems.
The latest MIUI update, MIUI 12, comes with a host of new features for Xiaomi phones. Some of these are Dark MOde 2.0, a Dynamic Always-on-Display, AI calling and Navigation gestures. It will also add around more than a thousand custom animated styles.MIUI 12 also includes the App Drawer feature that lets users sort their apps into categories- automatically.
And now as Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 12, all these features will first be available in 7 phones first.

The seven phones that will get the update first
Xiaomi rolls out the new MIUI 12 for its users in India. The rollout is said to begin this month itself and will first be available in 7 of its smartphones. Let us have a look at each of these.
Mi 10
Launched in May 2020, Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with a 5G connectivity. The phone is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and Snapdragon X55 5G modem. Mi 10 also prides itself with a 108MP camera and the Magic Clone feature that allows us to click the same person up to four times at different intervals of time.
Redmi Note 7
Launched just last year, Redmi Note 7 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and comes with a 4000mAh battery. The phone has a 6.3-inch HD+ display and is priced at around Rs. 11,490.
Redmi Note 7 Pro
Launched right after Redmi Note 7, the Pro model runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. This phone, too, comes with a 4000mAh battery and a 48MP back camera. Redmi Note 7 Pro is available at a starting range of Rs. 10,999.
Redmi Note 8
This August 2019 launch comes with a 4GB RAM and 6.3-inch display screen. It has a 48 MP camera at the back at the 13MP camera at the front. Redmi Note 8 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor and comes with a 4000mAh battery. The starting range for this phone is Rs. 12,799.
Redmi Note 8 Pro
Launched along with Redmi Note, the Pro version boasts of being the first phone to have a 64MP camera. It also sports a 20MP front camera and comes with a 6.5-inch display screen. Redmi Note 8 Pro comes at around RS. 15,999 in India.
Redmi Note 9
Launched back in July this year, Redmi Note 9 offers 4GB and 6GB RAM in two of its variants. The phone comes with a 5020mAh battery that boasts of 22.5W fast charging technology. It runs on a G85 octa-core processor. This phone is priced at around Rs. 11,999 in India.
Redmi Note 9 Pro
Launched in March 2020, Redmi Note 9 Pro has a quad-camera at the rear and has two variants offering 4GB and 6GB RAM. It has a display screen of 6.67-inch and runs on a 5020 mAh battery. Redmi Note 9 Pro is available at a starting price of Rs. 13,999 in India.
So, as Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 12 in India, users of these seven phones will be the first to experience the updated technology.
