Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 12 in India! But where?

Xiaomi had announced about the probable release of MIUI 12 in India. It was all set to be launched in the month of June but got delayed due to the pandemic scenario. However, now, Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 12 in India. And according to reports, there are 7 Xiaomi phones that will get this new update first.

MIUI 12 is an updated version of Android OS and is available on Xiaomi manufactured phones. All the Redmi and Mi phones run on updated MIUI operating systems.

The latest MIUI update, MIUI 12, comes with a host of new features for Xiaomi phones. Some of these are Dark MOde 2.0, a Dynamic Always-on-Display, AI calling and Navigation gestures. It will also add around more than a thousand custom animated styles.MIUI 12 also includes the App Drawer feature that lets users sort their apps into categories- automatically.

And now as Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 12, all these features will first be available in 7 phones first.

The seven phones that will get the update first

Xiaomi rolls out the new MIUI 12 for its users in India. The rollout is said to begin this month itself and will first be available in 7 of its smartphones. Let us have a look at each of these.

Launched in March 2020, Redmi Note 9 Pro has a quad-camera at the rear and has two variants offering 4GB and 6GB RAM. It has a display screen of 6.67-inch and runs on a 5020 mAh battery. Redmi Note 9 Pro is available at a starting price of Rs. 13,999 in India.

So, as Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 12 in India, users of these seven phones will be the first to experience the updated technology.
