Amir Khan had flown to Turkey earlier this month. Recently he met the first lady of Turkey. Emine Erdoğan is a big fan of Amir Khan’s acting. This meet has now made Indo-Turkish relations mild. The relations between India and Turkey were not so good after scraping of Article 370 last year.
Amir Khan Meets Emine Erdoğan
Amir Khan has went to Turkey for shooting of his upcoming movie. The name of this movie is Laal Singh Chaddha. This movie is the remake of US comedy drama Forrest Gump. The meet took place at the residence of the President in Istanbul. This meet was on Amir’s request to meet the first lady and seek permission. Both of them had discussion about various topics. Their discussion included various social responsibility projects. They also discussed about the Panni Foundation as the founder is Amir khan. They also discussed about the similarities in the cultures of India and Turkey.
The film has shot its Indian shoot before the lockdown was imposed. Rest of the film will be shot in Turkey. The shoot will be continued in the month of October. This visit is not Amir’s first visit to Turkey. He was called be the Turkish government in 2017 to promote his movie Secret Superstar.

At first this movie was set to release this year end. But now due to corona virus situation it will be releasing next year. This movie will also feature Kareena Kapor Khan in a prominent role.
