The third installment in the series could be out as soon as this coming year. As Marvel’s Phase 4 arrives on the scene, this movie could make it as once of the earliest arrivals. However, the firing, refiring and rehiring of director and writer, James Gunn, may make things not as smooth as they could be.
Things have been delayed, to be sure. As we know now, he buzzed off to make DC movies. However, as we also know, Feige did confirm that it will happen. So that, at the very least, is going for us. What can we expect? Below we have your answers: everything you’ll need to know.
When will Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 be released?
Like I said before, it could be soon on the runway. As of now, we don’t have an exact date. Most of our sources have said Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 will arrive a little after 2021. There have been claims that filming won’t begin until early 2021, but Gunn confirmed this was incorrect. He also stated that the film won’t be delayed because of other delays in the Marvel movie lineup.

So, will Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 be coming soon or not? Right now Disney has some unreleased slots for certain movies. These slots are as follows: October 7, 2022, February 17, 2023, May 5, 2023, July 28, 2023 or November 3, 2023.
So what does this mean? Well, that means anticipation for a 2021 release is out the window. We’ll have to wait a little more for our beloved movie.
