TikTok is creating a buzz around for quite a long time now. Chinese company ByteDance is the owner of this popular social media platform. Reportedly, ByteDance is going to sell some of it’s operation in USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Recently Oracle in talks to buy TikTok’s US operations.
Earlier it was Microsoft and Twitter in the race and were in a talk with the owner. Microsoft wanted to buy Europe and India’s operation but ByteDance is not ready to sell it’s India operation as of now. But Microsoft is bidding seriously to buy the asset.
TikTok on course
Oracle in talks to buy TikTok’s US operations and they are quite serious about it. They are already in the process and having back to back conversations with ByteDance. Oracle is also working with the investors associated with TikTok’s US operations.
Report says Twitter Inc also approached Oracle to bid for TikTok, though both the giant declined the report.
Tiktok’s is an immensely popular app around the globe. And for security reason US president Donald Trump recently ordered to divest the US operation. India also banned the app due to the ongoing dispute with China.

Earlier it was among Microsoft and Twitter but now Oracle is also in the race. And getting the ownership of this hugely popular app will be beneficial for all. It’s seems to be a tough competition among this groups. And all of them are pretty serious on the bidding.
Microsoft From the beginning wanted to buy TikTok and it was quite confirmed but as Oracle now joined to buy the US, Canada operations.
