Nothing can keep the Bellas down. The eagerly awaited union has happened. The Pitch Perfect cast reunited on Monday to sing Beyoncé’s ‘Love on top’. The reunion was for a good cause this time.
Elizabeth Banks posted a video on Instagram on Monday which shows pitch-perfect cast reunited for performing a Capella version of ‘love on top’. As the stars were at their own places, the pitch-perfect reunion was captured through a video call. It seems the Bellas aka- Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Hailee Seinfeld, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean, Hana Mae Lee, Kelley Alice Jakle, Wanetah Walmsley, and Shelley Regner — the caste if pitch-perfect got back together to raise funds in support of UNICEF effort. The UNICEF is trying to help children in Beirut and across the World battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

Not surprisingly they totally crushed it. This reunion was Bellas only, i.e. no Treblemakers or any other aca boys. Though the pitch-perfect cast reunion seems incomplete. Not shown in the video is Ester Dean aka Cynthia Rose, but it feels as if she may have a small vocal cameo at the very beginning.
Banks explains the Inspiration for the Reunion
Just before the song and in the caption Banks explains the cause for the pitch-perfect cast reunion.

And just as we thought we couldn’t miss the Bellas anymore. They once again proved how incredible they are. Possibly 2020 could literally see the pitch-perfect cast reunite, with the announcement of another sequel. It does seem like the idea has at least taken root for one aca. Close to the end of the song Anna Kendrick held up a series of signs. The message in those was” As the keys get higher and Kelly takes over the top notes, I just want to say I miss you guys”
Maybe pitch-perfect cast will reunite for real with ‘Pitch Perfect 4’. What do you think?
