A dispute among Apple and WordPress just was about to start while Apple smartly puts a end to it. WordPress was earlier forced to incorporate with Apple’s in-app purchases which lead WordPress to a problematic situation. Apple keep forcing WordPress to to sell it’s premium plans and domain so that Apple manage to get 30% of the amount.

But WordPress from beginning was against of this in-app purchases by Apple enforced to them. Apple started to flaunt the payment option in their app store while knowing the free app policy of WordPress.

“We believe the issue with the WordPress app has been resolved. Since the developer removed the display of their service payment options from the app, it is now a free stand-alone app and does not have to offer in-app purchases. We have informed the developer and apologize for any confusion that we have caused,” Apple stated.

Mullenweg confirms the statement and recognize the apology from Apple. But with this case Apple’s in-app purchases is in front and there are several issues are been targetting.
